Our living room | Before and After

I’ve been decorating my new home in San Francisco and shared my step by step project on Instagram.  It’s funny how, even when you’re into interior design, sometimes, you need an outside opinion because you’re too “close” to the project and need objectivity and a new perspective on things. So many of my IG friends helped me decide on the perfect shade for a living room wall I was undecided about. So a big, huge thank you to you, Insta-friends, if you’re reading this!

Je me suis lancée dans la déco de mon intérieur dans notre nouvelle maison de San Francisco et j’ai partagé le projet de rajouter de la couleur dans mon salon étape par étape sur Instagram.  Même quand on est un “pro” de la déco, des fois, quand on a la tête dans le guidon, on manque d’objectivité et on besoin d’un regard nouveau et extérieur. Beaucoup de mes “Insta-amis” m’ont donné des conseils précieux pour choisir la teinte parfaite. Alors un grand, grand merci à vous, insta-amis, si vous lisez ce billet!



Voici le résultat en images. J’aime l’effet “glam” que cette magnifique et puissante couleur rajoute à mon salon, autrement tout blanc.   3. I love it! what a great wall color! May I ask what you keep in your storage locker? I’ve been looking at those lockers at IKEA but am unsure what I’d put in there.

  6. J’adore! un coup de peinture et un mur “normal”est métamorphosé!!! bravo pour le choix (je doute j’aurais jamais pu choisir du noir pour tout un mur!) xxi.

    1. Merci Ilaria, mais en fait, ce n’est pas du noir, mais un bleu tres tres sombre. Du coup, selon la lumière, il prend des teintes de gris fonçé, de bleu ou de noir.
