Oh hey, I’m still alive. I’m actually out of the dark web hole as we finally launched with success the FrenchByDesign print shop! I’m so excited about this new launch and I’m already working on more updates, so stay tuned!
I’ve fallen behind a bit on the posting lately, but now that the technical part of the print shop launch is over, I’m happy to report that there is a lot of fresh content coming on the blog. Between the final update of my home office, a great recipe already in my draft box, and a DIY project that I’m sure you’ll will absolutely love, we’re going to get busy this season! Oh and did I mention the Christmas inspiration coming as well on this corner of the web? Oh, how fun!
Today, I wanted to share some pictures that I recently took while in New York on a girls’ trip! Yep, one of those escapes where we leave the kids to their beloved papas, and meet in town to mingle, and dine, and drink, and maybe even drink more! Do you organize girlfriends’ trips like these sometimes? Not enough if you ask me.
We stayed at Ace Hotel during our New York escape, and my heart skipped a beat when we opened the room of our suite, mesmerized by the beauty, mood and old soul of this space. So, of course, I snapped a few pics of our room and the magical colors and shapes of New York.
Our room at Ace Hotel was a feast to the eyes, and exquisitely comfortable. I was very inspired by the jet black headboard wall in the bedroom, and the artistic graffiti blue wall in the dining area — can you spot the SMEG black fridge over there in the corner? — or that lovely mood and view from the living sitting area. Perfection, don’t you think?
Thank you for your patience while I was busy working on the shop with my go-to Alchemy & Aim web team (and huge kudos to them for their hard work these past few weeks; Heather, I’m looking at you!).
We are now ready for fresh content and inspiration for the oh-so-quickly-coming holiday season! Xo, Si-
