Lately at home

This post is in partnership with Glade.

Are you ready for Thanksgiving? I’ve been doing a major house cleaning as we expect some friends visiting us from Phoenix for a “Friendsgiving” celebration. I moved things a bit while dusting and vacuuming the living room – you know, the dust balls that keep hiding under the sofa… –  and I like the new setting with the sofa in front of the windows. What do you think?

Clean and Fresh home for the Holiday #FeelGlade

There is nothing like a clean, fresh home for the holidays. Adding some fresh flowers and a couple of fresh scented Glade candles complete the look. Now if only I could get this house to stay clean during the entire long weekend, it would be great, wouldn’t it? Stay tuned, as I’ll show you tomorrow my “Friendsgiving” table inspiration.

  1. I love your big windows <3..and this position of sofa is perfect I think..reminds me lot of Swedish houses, and that's perfect =) Those fresh flowers reminds me I have to clean the vase with tulips, so I should stop by some flower shop to get new ones ^_^

    Have a nice day,

    1. Yay, so glad you like the new sofa setting! And yes to fresh flowers, go get some!

  2. nicer than a large painting over the couch sometimes (depending on the view). Like it

    1. Ha, I agree! It’s mainly our street view, but the neighbors right in front of us have a huge rose climbing tree on their facade. Can’t complain! Have a great day, Joanne!

  3. Amazing decor! I love the minimalist style! But I totally would put an Enchanted side table by Koket on this room, would give a different touch!

  4. So lovely and simple! What brand/model is the sofa? Thanks for sharing your beauty with the world.

    1. Oh, thank you so much for your sweet words, Susan!
The sofa is the Ghost sofa by Paola Navone for Gervasoni. Xx, Si-

  5. Stunning! Where are the tables in front of couch from? Your pictures are always so beautiful! Thank you for sharing
