At home with Alix Petit

After living a few years in New York city, Alix Petit, founder of the label Heimstone, moved to Paris, in the 6th arrondissement. She decorated her apartment like a summer vacation spot, to get away from the crazy pace of the city of lights : soft pinks, rattan and natural materials, and an overall laid-back style. She also used a lot of graphic wallpapers, like Oasis de Gafsa panel in the living room from Charles Barbant, or the Gucci wallpaper in the desk corner. I love the half-painted millennium pink walls – “to avoid the Barbie effect” she confesses. What a beautiful space!

    1. Je me suis posée la meme question, @Véronique. J’aurais probablement posé la télé sur un support devant la fresque murale – genre un truc à roulettes pour pouvoir le bouger au besoin. Mais quelle belle fresque murale, n’est-ce-pas?

  1. Wow! This is so crazy beautiful. Thank you for sharing this and for Alix sharing her home. Can I know where this couch is from? I’ve been trying to track down this style for a while now with no luck.

    Much appreciated,
    XO – Bri

    1. Oh hey @Brianna. Thank you so much! The sofa is from La Redoute, a French catalog/mail shopping company. I’m afraid it’s from a previous collection, but have look here : http://www.laredoute.com/
