Good read : The Scandinavian Home

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while. I received a few weeks ago a great book, written by blogger extraordinaire Niki Brantmark from My Scandinavian Home, called The Scandinavian Home. Niki has since released a new book, called Lagom – but I haven’t had a chance to take a look at it yet.

I’ve spent a whole lot of time lately turning these beautiful pages to get inspiration for my own interior. Niki presents a collection of beautiful homes and explore how the Scandinavian style is reflected in each of them – my favorites are the bohemian chic home of Karen Maj Kornum in Copenhagen, as well as the serene abode of Josephine Ekström in Sweden. What I love the most about The Scandinavian Home is that it features a wide variety of style and homes, from country homes to urban abodes, yet Niki guides you through the pages to show you how authentic Scandinavian style can easily be achieved. I highly, highly recommend!

  1. I don’t usually browse through a lot of interior books but I’ve seen this/heard this mentioned quite a few times before, it does look fascinating! It’s also helpful that it gives an option for a wide variety of homes, like you said. Sounds like a necessity if you’re at that time to create your home. <3
    Have a lovely weekend.
