Inspired by : Dutch masters wallpapers

I’ve been saving lots of Fall-inspired images lately while browsing online, and noticed a pattern : I’m really digging large wallpapers and wall fresques reminiscent of Dutch masters paintings. I love the bold statements they make, and they look so look in moody, dark interiors. All I need now is a hot cup of tea and a good book. You in?

  1. These are really lovely, Si. I think I was actually holding my breath while scrolling through the images. I’m particularly beguiled by the wallpapers with tulips. Then again, they are all amazing. Thank you for sharing. Cheers, Ardith

    1. So glad you’re feeling inspired as well by these beauties, @Ardith! Have a lovely weekend!

  2. When I saw the snippet on my feed, I thought, this is the kind of thing where a little bit is enough. When I opened the post, I saw how wrong I was. The bigger the better. Some trends I would get tired of, but I’ve always been crazy about Old Masters floral still lifes, and I think I would be happy for a very long time with these.
Also, the photos show that velvet is the perfect upholstery to go with these art walls.

    1. I agree, @Teste of France, the biggest, the better, and yes to anything velvet with it!

  3. Those tulips? I could not find them on any of the referenced sites. Can you tell me where I can find them? Absolutely stunning!

    1. Hello @Barbara, the tulip one [first picture on this post] is called “Bursting Flower” still mural and it is made by Emmanuelle Hauguel for Surface View. Happy wallpapering! :-)
