Blown Up

Have you noticed that giant, oversized portraits are trending? From blown up Dutch masters, to modern oversized portraits prints, there are so many options to fit one’s decor. Here are my favorite examples of blown up wall art.

What do you think, yay or nay? What type of oversized wall art would you choose for your interior?

  1. Wonderful. I like the one of Queen Victoria and the one which looks like it’s by Ingres? Thanks for sharing this trend. I paint portraits and I think large portraits are great.

  2. I love oversized artworks. I paint myself and over the years I found that’s it’s so liberating for me to go oversized (I just finished two of them and I’ll be putting them up for sale). These are all such lovely examples. The great thing about them is that they don’t overshadow the rest of the decor – they only compliment it! Fantastic!
