Make it simple

…but significant, à la Don Draper – or how simple and minimalist interiors can – with a touch of an accessory like a vase, a rug, a painting – appear calm and soothing, yet warm and inviting.

This is Glamorous

I’ve been decluttering around the house a lot lately – it’s amazing how much you can ‘acquire’ even without noticing – especially with two teenagers/young adults at home. I’d love to achieve this perfect balance between minimalism and warmth. I feel these corners and spaces illustrate the perfect winning equation.

  1. I tried it at my home in the last time to declutter and get it more minimalistic but it’s hard work because it means to put away many things you like and want to be presented, so I’ll try to change them and present them alternately. But it’s a long way to get the look of your pictures.
    Many greetings Kathrin

    1. I know, it’s super hard. I don’t try to get rid of things I like or collect, but even decluttering from knick knacks and magic pile of school-related papers is a constant battle in our house. Happy Spring cleaning @Kathrin!
