Visit | Claire Basler’s home and studio

Oh my, this interior made me stop in my tracks and stare at every single detail for a good ten minutes. This is grandiose, simply grandiose. Claire Basler is a French floral painter : on a daily basis, she creates huge floral arrangements and puts them around her house, using them as sources of inspiration for her paintings. Claire lives and works in an old castle, the Chateau de Beauvoir, which is a former schoolhouse, in Les Ormes, France.

Have a look at these pictures of Claire Basler‘s work and interior. Can you tell where the paintings stop and the real flowers start? The illusion is perfect, isn’t it? This is giving me some major spring envy.
