Welcome to The Archery, a shared artists and crafters’ space recently opened in the industrial heart of the Mission neighborhood in San Francisco. Located less than a block away from Tartine Manufactory, The Archery welcomes artists and makers, crafters and freelances, and offers workstations or private studios to its members, conference rooms and event space rentals.
With over 15,000 square feet of available space, The Archery is an endless maze, filled with industrial features such a s metal ceiling beams, barn rolling doors, small rooms or large open space all dressed in white and ready to be used by its creative community. With access to workspace, a prototyping shop, and a retail showroom, members benefit from an entire ecosystem of community resources, promotional support and opportunities to collaborate. I love the idea of retaining the creative production inside the city and allowing makers to crafters to connect in one single space.
A million thanks to Leslie Santarina from Spotted SF who is now Director of Events at The Archery for allowing me to visit this divine space and giving me a private tour.
The Archery is located on 470 Alabama Street in San Francisco, California and is open weekdays from 9am to 6pm.
