Fifty shades of blue

This home, located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Varberg, in Sweden, belongs to blogger Kristin Lagerkvist from Krichelin and plays with shades of blue throughout the entire space. Kristin’s home also features an amazing collection of retro-looking wallpapers, and feels warm and cosy. While there is a bit more patterns than I would go for in my own interior, what a fresh interior that doesn’t fall for the minimalist, all black-white-grey look we’re seeing all over lately, don’t you think?

What’s your favorite feature in Kristin’s home?

  1. Love it all being a huge blue fan! Love the blue painted dresser – may paint mine now. Most of all I love the tunic/kaftan she is wearing and want one. Any ideas where I can get one??

    1. Ha, love it too, @Jayne. Unfortunately, I don’t have a source for this beautiful kaftan. Xx-

  2. What is the blue paint color in the last photo, with the bentwood rocker? I love it!

    1. Hey @Jeanne, unfortunately, I don’t have a color reference to share for the blue of this last picture.

  3. Looking everywhere for the name of the wallpaper in the kitchen photo. If anyone knows, help! Very nice tour. Thank you. :)

  4. Hello,

    thank you,

  5. Hi there, such a wonderful post, that blue sideboard and the wall gallery are just gorgeous. Blue and White is my ultimate favourite colour combination. If you ever need any lovely pieces for styling do get in touch. We have a great selection of interior accessories / homewares that we make in the UK by hand from responsibly sourced textiles, such as Uzbek Ikats and Malian Mudcloths.
    Best wishes,
    Georgie
