Weekend links

Wishing you a lovely weekend. Before I leave, here are my favorite web finds this week:

French By Design

  • I love this simple DIY to make a tabletop marshmallow grill.
  • This home in Cassis, France, makes me miss Southern France so, so bad.
  • On a more serious note, I highly recommend this read regarding ‘white privilege’ in today’s world. Powerful words that stuck in my mind.

That’s it for now, guys! Have a lovely weekend, and see you next week! Xo, Si-

  1. I love to put wild blackberries on top of tarte au citron–the lemon balances out the extreme sweetness of the berries, and it’s a pretty color combination. I noticed with approval that the mûres are getting close to ripe.
There’s another piece on race, called “Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack,” which uses sexism to help understand racism, with women in the shoes of blacks. And it points out all the privileges white women have as well. Very eye-opening. Made me reflect.

    1. Oh, thanks for the tips, @Taste of France. I will definitely search for the “Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” read. Have a lovely weekend! Xx-
