HP invited me to try Sprout, their new creativity station. Sprout is nothing like anything I’ve seen or tried before. It’s a computer, a scanner, a camera; it features a touch-screen and a pen to draw or write handwritten texts; and it’s so intuitive that even I – and my very limited tech-capabilities – was able to play with the machine within minutes.
With Sprout, I can do mood boards when I work with an interior design client, add physical paint swatches that I got at the paint store, make a collage from a Pinterest picture that inspired me and scan any object and accessory that completes the mood board. The file can be saved as a pdf and sent directly to my client for review within seconds.
But what I like the most about Sprout is that I can use it not only for my work and the blog, but also at home with my two girls. Ines and Maya are very creative teens and when I asked them to try Sprout, the magic happened! They instantly connected with the station; Maya, my little fashionista made a fashion mood board and Inès designed her dream teen bedroom. Forget about my #TechFreeSundays resolutions. With Sprout, tech Sundays become real bonding time with my girls! Here is a short video of me and the girls playing with Sprout. Inès and Maya kindly agreed this time to appear on the blog, which is a premiere!
